I graduated from the University of Maryland where I received a B.S. in Environmental Science and Policy and a B.A. in Spanish. Since then, I have worked on waterbird monitoring, habitat restoration, and community conservation projects in the San Francisco Bay area, Northwest Mexico, and the Chesapeake Bay. I am interested in examining how waterbird populations are responding to ecological stressors in coastal ecosystems, as well as how management and restoration strategies impact humans and wildlife who rely on common coastal resources. I am excited to explore these topics as a member of Dr. Kathy Boyer’s Lab!
