I’m a true Oregonian excited to experience warmer weathers in the Bay. My favorite marine animals are dolphins! I received my B.S. in Human Physiology at the University of Oregon and made a career shift not too long after to pursue my first passion in marine science. I have worked on board vessels of the Alaskan Fisheries as a field biologist collecting field data for NMFS. I am interested in the effects of climate change and anthropogenic stressors on marine habitats and organisms and want to contribute in the conservation of marine life. I will be working in Dr. Karina Nielsen’s lab exploring the effects of ocean acidification in the bay.
