I am currently advised by Dr. Frances Wilkerson where I will be researching pelagic primary productivity rates in the Suisun Marsh in the San Francisco Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve (NERR). The purpose of this project aims to understand primary productivity rates before proposed management actions take place in the Suisun Marsh. During my time at San Francisco State University I will also be working on a broad range of subjects with the NERR and Dr. Matt Ferner.
Prior to graduate studies, I attended graduated Eckerd College where I majored in Environmental Studies with an emphasis in Coastal Management. Since then, I have been working to understand diverse ecosystems in both Colorado and Alaska.
